Born in Stockport in 1953, Hamlyn studied at St Martin's (BA) 1981-84 and Goldsmith's (MA) 1986-87. His portrait illustrations have appeared in newspapers and magazines throughout Europe and USA, and his work is in numerous private collections. Paul Hamlyn lives and works in London and Suffolk.
